AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 21-27-17, 21-27-23, 21-27-39 AND 77-3-1, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION SHALL DETERMINE THE RATES FOR WATER SERVICE PROVIDED BY A MUNICIPALITY FOR CONSUMERS OUTSIDE OF THE MUNICIPALITY'S CORPORATE BOUNDARIES; TO BRING FORWARD SECTIONS 19-5-177 AND 51-8-31, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH RELATE TO WATER DISTRICTS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF POSSIBLE AMENDMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
