AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 11-46-18, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE EACH MEMBER OF THE TORT CLAIMS BOARD TO DESIGNATE ANOTHER PERSON TO ATTEND BOARD MEETINGS; TO PROVIDE THAT IF ANY MEMBER OF THE BOARD APPOINTS A DESIGNEE TO ATTEND MEETINGS OF THE BOARD, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD MUST BE INFORMED IN WRITING OF THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF THE DESIGNEE; TO PROVIDE THAT THE DESIGNEE OF ANY MEMBER OF THE BOARD IS ABLE TO TAKE ALL ACTION TO WHICH THE PERSON DESIGNATING IS AUTHORIZED TO UNDER THE CHAPTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
