AN ACT TO REENACT SECTIONS 41-3-1.1, 41-3-3, 41-3-4, 41-3-5.1, 41-3-6, 41-3-15, 41-3-16, 41-3-17, 41-3-18 AND 41-3-19, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH CREATE THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH, ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ESTABLISH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND PRESCRIBE ITS POWERS AND DUTIES; TO AMEND REENACTED SECTION 41-3-16, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INFORM THE CODE PUBLISHER OF CERTAIN NONSUBSTANTIVE LANGUAGE THAT SHOULD BE REVISED; TO AMEND SECTION 43-11-13, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DELETE THE REPEALER ON THE PROVISIONS OF LAW THAT ALLOW PERSONAL CARE HOME RESIDENTS TO CONTINUE TO RESIDE THERE EVEN IF THEY ARE DETERMINED TO NEED SKILLED NURSING SERVICES, REGULATE THE HANDLING OF RESIDENTS' PERSONAL DEPOSITS, AND REQUIRE CERTAIN RECORDS TO BE MAINTAINED; TO REPEAL SECTION 41-3-20, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH IS THE AUTOMATIC REPEALER ON THOSE REENACTED SECTIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
