AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-53-5, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TO MANAGE A STATE DATA CENTER; TO DIRECT THAT ALL STATE AGENCIES WITH MORE THAN 10 SERVERS ARE REQUIRED TO VIRTUALIZE THEIR SERVERS THROUGH THE STATE DATA CENTER; TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TO EXPAND THE STATE'S ONLINE SERVICES TO CITIZENS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER STATE AND FEDERAL ENTITIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
