AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 33-15-17, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT A LOCAL EMERGENCY MAY BE PROCLAIMED BY THE MAYOR OF A MUNICIPALITY AND, FOLLOWING SUCH DECLARATION, SHALL BE REVIEWED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THAT MUNICIPALITY AT ITS NEXT REGULAR MEETING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
