AN ACT TO REENACT SECTIONS 57-97-1 THROUGH 57-97-23, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH ESTABLISH THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA REGION REVITALIZATION ACT OF 2006; TO CODIFY NEW SECTION 57-97-25, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PLACE THE REPEALER ON THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA REGION REVITALIZATION ACT IN THE MISSISSIPPI CODE AND EXTEND THE DATE OF THE REPEALER; TO AMEND SECTION 13, CHAPTER 444, LAWS OF 2006, TO DELETE THE REPEALER ON THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA REGION REVITALIZATION ACT FROM THE EFFECTIVE DATE SECTION OF THE ENACTING LEGISLATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
