AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 41-19-291, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE SPECIALIZED TREATMENT FACILITY FOR THE EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED IN HARRISON COUNTY SHALL BE CLOSED ON JULY 1, 2009; TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BOARD OF MENTAL HEALTH TO SELL OR LEASE THE PROPERTY ON WHICH THE FACILITY IS LOCATED; TO AMEND SECTIONS 41-7-73, 41-17-1, 41-21-109 AND 41-21-151, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO CONFORM TO THE PRECEDING PROVISIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
