AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 95-3-29, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REVISE THE IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY FOR A NUISANCE ACTION GRANTED TO CERTAIN AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS OR ENTERPRISES THAT HAVE EXISTED FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR; TO CHANGE THE REFERENCE TO THE ENTITY FROM "AGRICULTURAL OPERATION" TO "AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE;" TO REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE CONDITIONS CONSTITUTING THE NUISANCE HAVE EXISTED WITHOUT CHANGE SINCE THE ENTERPRISE WAS ESTABLISHED; TO REQUIRE THAT THE ENTERPRISE MUST BE OPERATING IN COMPLIANCE WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAW AND APPLICABLE PERMITS; TO AMEND SECTIONS 17-17-3, 17-17-103, 49-17-29, 49-31-3, 75-67-135, 75-67-241, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
